He Knew We Would

We often think that when we sin and fail in our pursuit of living holy lives, God is shocked by our behavior.  We think to ourselves that failure is finally the one that will cause God to no longer love us or want us.  Yet, the scriptures tell us a very different story.  The truth is that Jesus knew you would fail, and he knew all the horrible ways you would fail, and still he chose to invite you to his banqueting table, and still he chose to die for you.
