Do you know what you are in for?

When Jesus taught or performed miracles, afterward, crowds followed him.  It is great to follow Jesus when he teaches that the last will become first and when he is doing miracles.  But now Jesus turns to the crowd and asks them if they will still follow if carrying a cross and giving up everything this world has to offer is what following requires.    When was the last time you asked yourself if you were willing to lay everything down to follow Jesus?
